Badger Hair
Precious Badger Hair is particularly soft and supple. The shaft of each individual hair has a cone shape, which means that it can pick up a lot of shaving foam and transport it to the tip. The best quality badger hair is called silvertip. These hairs are very soft with a light-colored tip. They are harvested from the neck and underbelly of the badger. The next highest grade is the darker and less fine best badger followed by pure badger with coarser hairs of a larger diameter. Another sign of quality is the black band in the mostly silver hair.
