Compared to the LD22, the LD22 2015 provides additional functionality that features pre-selecting an outdoor mode or a tactical mode. Whereas the outdoor mode provides all 4 light levels (300/100/30/5 lumens) plus SOS and strobe with the side switch selection, the tactical mode focuses on the functions relevant for tactical use (turbo, strobe and medium) and bundles these for direct access on the endcap switch for optimized one-handed operation in the sequence Turbo -> Strobe -> Medium.
