To reveal the last secrets of nature, History Knife & Tool presents the lovingly recreated German Scout Knife as a tribute to all scouts. The basic shape of the renowned knife is reminiscent of a military bayonet, which can be worn comfortably on the belt with the help of the plain metal sheath. The modern replica by HKT is based on authentic originals as well as official documents and combines the traditional design with high-quality materials. The sturdy blade of the sheath knife is made of satin-finished 440A and is supplied with a practical tenon saw. The metal handle with black POM inlays, always lies securely in the hand even when wet thanks to the fine texturing and has a practical engraving area. The characteristic parrying element prevents unintentional slipping onto the blade and thus increases the young adventurers' safety at work.
Warning and safety information:
Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue.
Slipping of the knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injuries.
Injuries due to falls: Knives should never be left unsecured or near table edges to prevent them from falling and injuring someone.
Blunt knives: Blunt knives pose a greater risk of injury as they require more force and can slip more easily. Knives should therefore be properly sharpened regularly.
Improper use: Using a knife for tasks for which it is not intended (e.g. as a lever tool) can not only damage the blade, but also lead to accidents.
