Since 31st October 2024, there has been a general ban on the handling and possession of switchblade knives of all kinds in Germany. They are now prohibited objects and the possession thereof is a criminal offence. The possession of certain switchblade knives is prohibited in accordance with Annex 2 to the German Weapons law, Section 1, Number 1.4.1, and only permitted to persons who have a legitimate interest necessitating one-handed use (such as due to the loss of an arm or a missing or dysfunctional hand), or use them in connection with professional activities (e.g. hunting, crafts) or sports (e.g. sailing or mountaineering). The same applies to commercial dealers or manufacturers of such knives. Consequently,the sale is limited only to authorized individuals. Please verify before placing an order whether you possess such a legitimate interest.

For decades, the Boker Gemini has been one of the workhorses of the Boker range. The Boker Plus Gemini NGA combines the benefits of the previous Gemini with modern features, such as spring-supported opening. The FRN handle is light and has a rubber element for a better grip. The VG-10 blade steel leaves nothing to be desired. The excellent value for money is one of the factors that makes the Gemini NGA a versatile EDC. Handle in black-coyote, with a straight edge.

Warning and safety information:
Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue.
Slipping of the knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injuries.
Injuries due to falls: Knives should never be left unsecured or near table edges to prevent them from falling and injuring someone.
Blunt knives: Blunt knives pose a greater risk of injury as they require more force and can slip more easily. Knives should therefore be properly sharpened regularly.
Improper use: Using a knife for tasks for which it is not intended (e.g. as a lever tool) can not only damage the blade, but also lead to accidents.

Ein ausgezeichnetes EDC Messer

Das Böker Plus Gemini NGA BK Coyote ist mit einem Griff aus Glasfaserverstärktem Nylon (FRN) ausgetsattet.
Verglichen mit anderen Griffmaterialien wirkt sich dieser Kunststoff positiv auf das Gesamtgewicht aus.
Die Oberfläche des Griffes, die Einlagen mit Fischhaut Muster sowie die gut platzierten Serrations stellen sicher, dass das Messer fest in der Hand liegt.
Die Klinge besteht aus VG 10, welcher eine rostfreie Stahlsorte mit hohem Kohlenstoffgehalt ist. Sie ist
hervorragend scharf und gleitet ohne weiteres auch durch etwas dickeren Karton. Ein Klingenspiel ist (bei meinem) nicht vorhanden.
Ich bin mit dem Gemini NGA BK Coyote absolut zufrieden und kann es jedem empfehlen, der ein gutes EDC Messer sucht. Die Lieferung war schnell. Innerhalb von zwei Tagen hatte ich es in Händen.
