The low profile and incredibly elegant lines of the successful Urban Trapper has had countless enthusiastic customers. Brad Zinker addresses the growing demand for a "heftier" version with the FR model. Based on the same design principles - e.g. as titanium frame lock with ball-bearing hinged blade - the Böker Plus FR features a slightly heavier and wider handle design, which together with the minimally increased blade thickness moves the overall impression significantly more in the direction of a utility knife, but without compromising its elegance. VG-10 is used as the blade steel here as well.

Parfait (à quelques choses prêtes...)

Lame de 7cm, flipper roulements à billes, VG-10, magnifiques plaquettes titane... ça devrait être l'EDC parfait.
Malheureusement, quelques défauts gachent l'experience. La lame n'est pas fermement bloquée (sans problème de sécurité, toutefois), faute à une semelle mal usinée. Après une légère modification à l'aide d'une pierre diamant, plus de problème.
Idem pour le centrage de la lame, pas parfait au départ. j'ai dû jouer avec les rondelles de pivot pour le corriger.
Là, il est (re)devenu parfait :-).
Donc si vous n'hésitez pas à bricoler, je vous le conseille fortement, surtout au tarif actuel.

Kleines, Leiches Messer. Extrem leicht zu öffnen. Das Entriegeln fällt etwas schwer, geht aber auch mit etwas Übung. Schärfe ist sehr gut.
