Exoskeleton, gravity and a futuristic design - what sounds like ingredients for a science fiction movie, Reate makes true and tangible with the EXO-K. The karambit does without common opening aids and relies solely on gravity and the support structure of the green aluminum handle. A spirited swing opens the front part of the handle and exposes the knife's double-joint mechanism. The subsequent backswing moves the blade into position so that the handle is enclosed by the hand, holding the N690 sickle-shaped blade in place. The proven button lock is used for unlocking. The way the pocket knife is made stands for high everyday utility and guarantees a long service life. The weightless design is rounded off by the black PVD blade finish, the titanium clip (tip-up/r) and the Kerambit-typical ring at the end of the handle.

Warning and safety information:
Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue.
Slipping of the knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injuries.
Injuries due to falls: Knives should never be left unsecured or near table edges to prevent them from falling and injuring someone.
Blunt knives: Blunt knives pose a greater risk of injury as they require more force and can slip more easily. Knives should therefore be properly sharpened regularly.
Improper use: Using a knife for tasks for which it is not intended (e.g. as a lever tool) can not only damage the blade, but also lead to accidents.
