John Kubasek has already won over countless knife enthusiasts with his highly creative designs and has become known around the world for his innovative pocket knives. Now the experienced knifemaker from the USA has implemented an even more compact backup pocket knife and presented us with the 24-gram Dog Tag Knife. With a thickness of only about four millimeters, it can be comfortably worn around the neck on a ball chain, just like its namesake.

The single-sided chisel grind of the blade, which allows the flat back of the cutting edge to lie as close as possible to the titanium plate, contributes to maximum safety when carrying and using the knife. In addition, a sophisticated magnetic mechanism secures the Neck Knife both when closed and when open. The mechanism is not based purely on magnetic force, but on a solid locking. This prevents accidental opening even during dynamic sporting activities. The back of the titanium plate is perfect for laser engraving of the name, nickname or even medical data and other information. With black ball chain.

Quality sharp knife.

This dog tag knife its very sharp, not as sharp as a razor blade but pretty sharp. The tool is really practical, its can open beers, cut something easly , etc. It would be cool if the dog tag had a detachable flint, but I guess it will be in next versions. 10/10

Hingucker aber unpraktisch

Das Messer ist echt ein cooles Messer, es ist klasse zum um den Hals tragen und fällt dort als "Dogtag" auch kaum auf. Problem nur das die Klinge auf der Dogtag ein wenig wackelt und mir das einfach nicht so schön gefällt. Natürlich ist das Messer ein kleines Messer, welches nicht für die harte Praxis gedacht ist, ich möchte also jedem die Illusion nehmen, dass es sich hierbei um ein alltagstaugliches Messer handelt. Trotz alledem ist die Klinge BökerPlus typisch scharf und hochwertig und die Spitze auch schön spitz und so kann es doch für kleine Aufgaben heran gezogen werden.

John Kubasek

American knifemaker John Kubasek from Massachusetts has been making his own knives since 1988 and was able to draw on his many years of experience in the knife industry at that time. After designing fixed blades in the first years of his self-employment, he focused on innovative pocket knives with unusual mechanisms and shapes later. In close cooperation with renowned international designers we develop and test modern utility knives and gentleman pocket knives with a stylish appearance as well as functional tactical knives for the professional user. Boker Plus knives are innovative in terms of function and design, as well as guaranteed for everyday use. Conception, design and construction are carried out in Solingen, and production takes place in Europe, the USA and Asia.
