What do Trier, Wiesbaden, Münster and Lüneburg have in common? Apart from a historic city center, landmarks that are famous beyond the borders of the region and a long-standing tradition as important trade cities, they share another important aspect: These cities are the homes of excellent steelware retailers, who have built their outstanding reputation over many years by means of their extensive selection and first-rate expertise.

We harnessed their decades of experience, excellent know-how and finely honed every day sense for the requirements and needs of cooking and kitchen enthusiasts in our product development of the Boker Core series, combined with our almost 150 years of experience as a Solingen Knife Manufactory. The results is a product with dynamic lines, excellent handling and breathtaking cutting capability that earned the quality rating "recommended by leading retailers".

The solid blade slug made from a chromium-molybdenum-vanadium alloy (X50CrMoV15), perfectly suited for making premium kitchen knives, is hand-forged with Solingen craftsmanship, structurally optimized and then hardened to 58 HRC. In order to give the blade a longer service life and even finer cut, our traditional hand grind is then highly polished.

The forged bolster ensures a secure grip and protects the user from possible injuries in case of a slip. A special design feature of all knives in this series is the gently rounded spine. This makes the knife easy and pleasant to handle in any position and prevents unpleasant pressure on the hand – even if strong pressure is applied to the spine, while executing a rock chop, for instance.

The practical and perfectly proportioned handles made of synthetic complete the overall picture. The knives are highly moisture resistant and can also be used in professional restaurants without hesitation. Especially in the kitchen, hygiene has to meet the highest standards at all times.

Warning and safety information:
Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue.
Slipping of the knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injuries.
Injuries due to falls: Knives should never be left unsecured or near table edges to prevent them from falling and injuring someone.
Blunt knives: Blunt knives pose a greater risk of injury as they require more force and can slip more easily. Knives should therefore be properly sharpened regularly.
Improper use: Using a knife for tasks for which it is not intended (e.g. as a lever tool) can not only damage the blade, but also lead to accidents.

Ein MUSS in jeder Küche

Ich bin sehr froh, dass ich auf Böker gestoßen bin. Ich habe durch Zufall die Core Serie im Internet entdeckt und mir einfach mal ein Kochmesser aus der Serie bestellt, weil ich es sehr ansprechend fand, sowohl optisch als auch vom Preis her. Und es hat sich gelohnt!! Die Qualität ist einfach spitzenmäßig, man merkt total die Solinger Qualität und nicht dieser ganze China Mist.... Ich bin sofort auf die Core Serie umgestiegen und habe mir fast die ganze Serie jetzt gekauft! Dieses Käsemesser habe ich zuletzt ergattert und finde es echt toll. Als nächstes werde ich mir das Tomatemesser zulegen. Einfach Klasse, und so scharf!! Ein MUSS in jeder Küche ..
