Stan Moizis

Stan Moizis is a knifemaker born in Brno who specializes in handmade, "old school" automatic knives. His work is strongly influenced by classic knife-making and is characterized by traditional mechanisms, robust constructions, and clear functionality. He made his first automatic knife at the age of 13, which laid the foundation for his later career. Many of his tools and methods are self-developed and have been continuously used and refined over decades – an example of this is a self-made sanding block that has been in use for over 20 years. Moizis stands for artisanal consistency, technical experience, and an uncompromising love for classic automatic knives, where function, mechanics, and durability are paramount.
