This exceptional Sprint Run version of the Yojimbo 2 proudly presents a blade made of CPM-15V, an exceptional material that offers the highest wear resistance of any cold work steel available today. Its unique alloy composition contains nearly 15% vanadium, creating an exceptionally high volume of vanadium carbides in its microstructure. In knife blades, this results in breathtaking cutting performance and edge retention. Spyderco's limited edition CPM-15V knife family is further enhanced by a special heat treatment protocol developed by renowned knifemaker Shawn Houston. This Sprint Run version of the Yojimbo 2 incorporates all the proven elements of this design, including a high-strength compression lock and a four-way reversible clip. To clearly identify it as a member of our CPM-15V family, it also features brown, removable G10 handle scales and Shawn Houston's “Triple B” logo laser engraved on the back of the hollow ground blade.
