Description
The injection-molded handle scales of the Sage 5 Lightweight reduce weight and provide improved grip thanks to the bi-directional texture. This elite version raises the bar even higher with a blade made from Spyderco's proprietary CPM SPY27 steel. This was developed in close collaboration with Crucible Industries and combines the proven composition of VG-10 stainless steel with additional alloys and Crucible Industries' state-of-the-art particle metallurgy manufacturing process. The full-flat ground blade of this knife is supported by a high-strength compression lock mechanism and skeletonized stainless steel liners housed in fiberglass-reinforced nylon (FRN), finished in signature cobalt blue.
