Description
CPM MagnaCut is a revolutionary knife steel that challenges the logic of conventional metallurgy and provides an excellent balance between edge retention, toughness and extreme corrosion resistance. Based on numerous tests, Spyderco has decided that this blade steel will be included in the elite Salt series of knives. The precision-engineered blade of the Para Military 2 Salt takes full advantage of the remarkable properties of the MagnaCut process. It is ground completely flat for optimal cutting edge geometry and is paired with a handle made of G10 scales with alternating black and yellow layers. Spyderco's signature Caribbean Bi-Directional Texture pattern has been carefully milled into the shell surfaces, revealing the underlying yellow layer and creating a highly visible, color-contrasting, non-slip pattern. In keeping with its maritime purpose, the knife's nested liners, fully configurable four-position pocket clip, and Compression Lock are made of corrosion-resistant, marine-grade materials.
