Description
Designed by Eric Glesser, the ButtonUp is Spyderco’s first manual folding knife with a Button-Lock mechanism. This lock combines high strength and exceptional convenience, providing one of the smoothest opening actions thanks to the ball-bearing pivot washers. The black coated modified clip-point blade is made from 8Cr13MoV stainless steel and is partially serrated, ensuring excellent cutting geometry and strength. The blade is housed in a lightweight, easy-to-clean open handle, fitted with carbon fiber and G10 laminate scales. These scales are reinforced with integrated stainless-steel microliners around the pivot and lock, adding extra stability. The ButtonUp comes with a reversible pocket clip, allowing tip-up carry on either the left or right side for quick access. Additionally, there’s a lanyard hole for attaching lanyards.
