Premax

For generations, high-quality scissors have been manufactured in the Italian town of Premana, near Lake Como. For discerning customers, the local scissor manufacturers, using modern machining centers, selected materials, and a great deal of attention to detail, are holding their own against cheap Asian competition with European quality craftsmanship. The manufacturer Premax is particularly innovative. The traditional screw of the scissors has been replaced by a specially developed and patented locking system. The Ringlock system is manufactured using technology from the watchmaking industry and works with a ring and an aluminum bearing that ensure permanently precise positioning of the scissor blades.
