John W. Smith

John W. Smith has been a full-time knifemaker since 1993 and is a member of the American Knifemakers Guild. Most of his designs are pocket knives, for which he primarily uses natural materials such as mother-of-pearl or stone. His detailed embellishments and engravings, in particular, make his knives truly special. A blade pivot screw or thumb stud made of 14-karat gold is not uncommon for him.
