Joe Mangiafico

Joe Mangiafico is an American knifemaker and designer who has been crafting custom knives since 2013. He gained recognition for his exceptional handle designs, in which he recreates the colors and patterns of various trout species and other fish in elaborate mosaic constructions made from G10 and non-ferrous metals. His knives combine high functionality with a distinctive aesthetic signature. In addition to fixed-blade knives, Mangiafico also produces sophisticated liner-lock and frame-lock folding knives. For his work, he primarily uses high-quality stainless steels with excellent corrosion resistance and edge retention. Furthermore, he works as a designer for Böker. This collaboration has made his designs accessible to a broad international audience, combining the creativity of a custom knifemaker with the possibilities of serial production.
