Gabriel Berthélémy

Gabriel Berthélémy, Jahrgang 1990, ist der Gründer des Messerlabels La Forge AGAB. Nach einem Studium der Architektur entwickelte er seine Leidenschaft für die Arbeit mit Materialien und handwerkliche Gestaltung weiter. Über die Metallbearbeitung fand er zum Schmiedehandwerk und zur Messerkunst. Prägend waren seine Ausbildung bei dem Schmied Flo Baroud sowie der Austausch mit dem Messermacher David Lespect, der ihm unter anderem die Fertigung von Liner-Lock-Mechanismen vermittelte. In seiner Werkstatt verbindet Berthélémy traditionelle Schmiedetechniken mit moderner Präzision. Seine Messer zeichnen sich durch klare Linien, ausgewogene Proportionen und eine sorgfältige Auswahl von Materialien aus.
