Dutch Bushcraft Knives (DBK) was founded by two Dutch friends, Maarten and Mikkie B., who have known each other since they were four years old. Their shared interest in survival and bushcraft evolved into a long-standing passion for knives. For over 15 years, they have been collecting, testing, and using knives in real outdoor conditions, evaluating countless steels, grinds, and handle designs for their practicality. The knives developed by DBK are based on this extensive experience and are consistently designed for use in bushcraft, outdoor activities, and survival. Functionality, robustness, and user-friendliness are at the core of their design philosophy. DBK also gained renown through its successful YouTube channel, where Maarten and Mikkie present knives and outdoor equipment with expertise, humor, and a strong practical focus.
