Description
The CRKT Provoke Blue by Joe Caswell introduces a completely new dimension to folding knives. Its "Kinematic" mechanism is unlike any other pocket knife. The Hawkbill blade, mounted on two movable arms, does not pivot classically around an axis but rather swings parallel forward out of the handle and locks. The karambit's lock is released by a lever recessed in the handle. Operation is so uncomplicated and intuitive that safe and quick handling is always guaranteed. The handle elements are made of blue Grivory, while the blade is made of 4116 steel and is over 5 millimeters thick. The round clip does not get in the way when using the knife but can be easily moved out of its parked position with a light finger press to put the knife away. The Provoke's unique concept vividly demonstrates that fundamental innovations are still possible in the field of folding knives.
