Warnings and safety information:

Warning and safety information: Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue. Slipping of the knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injuries. Injuries due to falls: Knives should never be left unsecured or near table edges to prevent them from falling and injuring someone. Blunt knives: Blunt knives pose a greater risk of injury as they require more force and can slip more easily. Knives should therefore be properly sharpened regularly. Improper use: Using a knife for tasks for which it is not intended, such as as a lever tool, can not only damage the blade, but also lead to accidents.

Description

In his designs, the Ukrainian knifemaker Alexander Krava succeeds admirably in combining form and function at the highest level. The designer created the eponymous Slipjoint knife based on Koteyka, a virus with a cat as the figurehead, which is not taken entirely seriously by those familiar with the computer scene. Three-dimensionally milled G10 handle scales provide an incomparable grip with velvet-pawed structure all the way to the back of the blade, while the D2 blade with stonewash finish lies in wait and is only released on its prey from everyday cutting tasks with a quiet purr of the nail nick. Even without a locking mechanism, the blade is held securely by the taut spring. Without a clip and without a lanyard hole, but with a great deal of mysterious elegance.

Alexander Krava
