Instead of a traditional nail nick or slipjoint, the knife features a discreet hidden bolster release mechanism (U.S. Design Patent by CobraTec), allowing the satin-finished D2 blade to deploy automatically with a smooth upward slide of the matte stainless-steel bolster.
