Description
In order to set new standards in the top range of professional rescue knives with the SAR series, the Italian manufacturer Antonini has teamed up with LionSteel as a partner in this project. The result of this cooperation is an astonishingly low price, given the strong equipment features, the materials used, the elaborate workmanship and the innovative design. The name T. Rumici guarantees the functionality and handiness of the design.

All knives of the series are equipped with a glass breaker, a magnetic bit holder, IKBS ball bearing and a wire bow clip for tip-up carrying that can be attached left and right. The handles consist of contoured milled G10 scales on skeleton steel plates. The blades are made of Nitro-B, a highly corrosion-resistant surgical steel alloyed with nitrogen. The blades have a short and biting serration at the base. They lock via a bolt axle lock known as TOL with immense stability reserves, patented by LionSteel.

The Sheepfoot blade and the blue G10 handle scales suggest the maritime appeal of the Antonini N-SAR, which is an ideal companion for sailing in particular. However, it is generally an excellent choice for anyone who appreciates the specific advantages of this blade shape in everyday life.

Tommaso Rumici

Tommaso Rumici ist ein italienischer Messerdesigner, der für seine funktionalen und praxisorientierten Entwürfe bekannt ist. Schon früh entwickelte er eine Begeisterung für Messer, insbesondere für Outdoor-, Sport- und Militärmodelle. Nach intensiver Beschäftigung mit industriell gefertigten Messern begann er, eigene Designs zu entwickeln. Sein erstes Serienmodell, das Fearless, wurde 2006 vom italienischen Hersteller Viper vorgestellt und markierte den Beginn seiner Laufbahn als Designer.
Neben seiner Tätigkeit als Messerdesigner arbeitet Rumici als Fachautor für italienische und internationale Messer- und Waffenmagazine. Durch den regelmäßigen Austausch mit Herstellern, Messermachern und Anwendern sowie seine Präsenz auf internationalen Fachmessen verfolgt er aktuelle Entwicklungen der Branche. Seine Designs verbinden moderne Funktionalität mit einer klaren Formensprache und entstehen stets mit einem starken Fokus auf den praktischen Einsatz.
