For the anniversary, we are very pleased that we were able to partner once again with Dietmar Pohl. It had been a long time since we had worked together. The passionate designer and specialist for tactical knives has designed more than 60 knives, among them the impressive Rambo Knife featured in the latest movie of the action franchise with Sylvester Stallone. Twenty-five years ago, he created his first knife design, the Magnum Collection 1995. When it came to the development of the Magnum Collection 2020, it was clear from the start that it would be a modern tactical design that also pays homage to its roots in the designer's early years. The CNC-milled handle picks up the shapes of the Magnum Collection 1995, while being clearly recognizable as a tactical knife, featuring Pohl's signature slit screws and deep finger choils. Dietmar Pohl skillfully combines old and new elements, sharing his individual shapes and lines with the collector.
For the first time, we are using a solid spearpoint blade made from 5 mm thick D2 in the Magnum Collection series, giving the knife the practical properties you can expect from a true utility knife. The knife has a long ricasso, a pronounced fuller and a ridged thumb rest. The combination of stonewash and satin finish makes the blade scratch-resistant and improves its corrosion-resistance as well. The solid full-tang build gives the Magnum Collection 2020 balance and stability, making it a reliable tool for any occasion. The handle scales of textured G10 are sandblasted to a matte finish, creating an interesting contrast to the blade. With a lanyard hole and black leather sheath. The Magnum Collection 2020 is strictly limited to 1,999 pieces worldwide. It comes in an exclusive collector´s box with a certificate of authenticity.
Warning and safety information:
Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue.
Slipping of the knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injuries.
Injuries due to falls: Knives should never be left unsecured or near table edges to prevent them from falling and injuring someone.
Blunt knives: Blunt knives pose a greater risk of injury as they require more force and can slip more easily. Knives should therefore be properly sharpened regularly.
Improper use: Using a knife for tasks for which it is not intended (e.g. as a lever tool) can not only damage the blade, but also lead to accidents.
