Since 31st October 2024, there has been a general ban on the handling and possession of switchblade knives of all kinds in Germany. They are now prohibited objects and the possession thereof is a criminal offence. The possession of certain switchblade knives is prohibited in accordance with Annex 2 to the German Weapons law, Section 1, Number 1.4.1, and only permitted to persons who have a legitimate interest necessitating one-handed use (such as due to the loss of an arm or a missing or dysfunctional hand), or use them in connection with professional activities (e.g. hunting, crafts) or sports (e.g. sailing or mountaineering). The same applies to commercial dealers or manufacturers of such knives. Consequently,the sale is limited only to authorized individuals. Please verify before placing an order whether you possess such a legitimate interest.

The masterful implementation by LionSteel plays its part in making the Clap a truly exceptional knife. The compact size, in which the clap still radiates hand firmness, as well as the affectionate equipment details such as the titanium bolster, the titanium clip and spacer make the Clap highly attractive for collectors and users alike. The flipper opens the ball-bearing blade made of Böhler M390 quickly, but can be dismantled in order to allow the nail nick to open the blade. Stainless steel plates with linerlock. The blade axle collar is made of anodized titanium, the handle scales are made of noble Olive Wood. Supplied with high-quality nylon pouch.
