The typical curly birch pattern and the rich color of the local wood go very well with the new blade finish, a special combination of polish and satinization we are using for the very first time. In addition, the blades feature two-tone etching with the historical Boker tree etched in gold. Providing a strong contrast and elegant appearance, the inscription is etched in deep black.
Boker and the sporting knife basically celebrate the anniversary together, because this knife has always been a part of our product range. The sporting knife is easily recognized by its unique shape. Even closed, you can still recognize three important elements of this handy model: The polished front and back nickel silver bolsters, the bail for adding a carabiner with a chain or strap and the tapered handle back in the front, in the area of the blade end. The latter creates a shallow depression, the perfect thumb rest while gripping the knife for a cutting job. The traditional design is a perfect fit for a vest pocket, offering clear advantages. You need both hands to open the tools and the blades can't be locked. Instead, the knife is held open with classic spring action.
It is equipped with two blades, a can and bottle opener- , a piercing- awl, a reamer, a corkscrew and a screwdriver. Both blades are made from 4034, the classic Solingen blade steel that combines corrosion resistance and edge retention and is easy to sharpen. This bedrock of our product range has polished nickel silver bolsters and durable plastic scales. Thanks to the handy lanyard bail, the knife is easy to attach to a bag or other objects. Handmade in Solingen and strictly limited to 150 pieces worldwide. Comes with an individual serial number, a special anniversary package and a certificate of authenticity.
Warning and safety information:
Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue.
Slipping of the knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injuries.
Injuries due to falls: Knives should never be left unsecured or near table edges to prevent them from falling and injuring someone.
Blunt knives: Blunt knives pose a greater risk of injury as they require more force and can slip more easily. Knives should therefore be properly sharpened regularly.
Improper use: Using a knife for tasks for which it is not intended (e.g. as a lever tool) can not only damage the blade, but also lead to accidents.
