Michael Burch was born in rural Missouri in 1978. Knives have accompanied him since his earliest childhood. Already at the age of 12 he built his first knives in his father's garage. Years after joining the USMC and working in an Outdoor equipment store, he became independent and started making knives in 2007.
Spyderco
In 1981 Sal Glesser and his wife Gail revolutionized the knife industry. In the small town of Golden, not far from Colorado's capital Denver, they founded the now world-famous knife brand Spyderco. Today, Spyderco is still a true pioneer, constantly developing and testing new materials and mechanisms. Over the years, Spyderco has been able to make a name for itself worldwide as an innovative manufacturer of high-quality pocket knives and fixed knives and is now a supplier to numerous police and military forces around the world. For the precise production of the knives, modern high-quality materials are used.
