{"product_id":"barlow-prime-edc-micarta-black-116943","title":"Barlow Prime EDC Micarta Black","description":"he characteristic teardrop shape of the Barlow can be traced back to English pocket knives from the 17th century, making it undoubtedly one of the oldest models of all time. The name of this classic likely originates from an enterprising knife manufacturer of the same name in Sheffield, who began exporting these robust knives to North America around 1800. They immediately enjoyed immense popularity there, and by the late 19th century, the first Barlow models also appeared in the history of the Boker Manufactory.\r\n\r\nDesigned with an integral construction, this newly interpreted Boker Barlow Prime dispenses with the characteristic bolsters, featuring seamless, comfortably contoured handle scales made of black canvas Micarta instead. Thanks to this lightweight construction, the knife entirely eliminates the need for additional metal liners. The stonewash-finish blade is crafted from ice-hardened N690 steel and opened via a nail nick. It is accented with a modern, elongated swedge, while a 90-degree stop during opening and closing enhances the operational safety of the slipjoint. The decorative pins are made of stainless steel.\r\n\r\nHandcrafted in the Boker knife manufactory in Solingen.","brand":"Böker Germany","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":50638677541026,"sku":"116943","price":89.95,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0641\/7498\/1282\/files\/116943.jpg?v=1792144310","url":"https:\/\/boker.de\/en\/products\/barlow-prime-edc-micarta-black-116943","provider":"Böker Solingen","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
